Wine Maker in Residence
On the first Thursday of every month, we will host a winemaker or producer over lunch where we will showcase their wines by the glass, carafe or flight.
This April, Gilt Brasserie will be hosting an additional By the Glass takeover. We are thrilled to have winemaker, Annie Millton from Millton Vineyards in Manutuke, Gisborne in residence join us for this educational dining experience.
For 40 years, Millton Vineyards has been crafting wines that speak of place, passion, and purity. Established by James and Annie Millton in 1984 on the banks of the Te Arai River near Manutuke, where grapevines were first planted in 1871.
As pioneers in organic and biodynamic viticulture, Millton remains dedicated to working in harmony with the land, creating wines that are vibrant, expressive, and true to their origins. Each bottle is a reflection of their dedication to sustainability, artisanship, and pure varietal expression—a legacy that continues under Annie Millton’s pursuit of excellence.
